ALUMNI

After high school, our learners are helped to access tertiary education and training. Bursaries, funding and laptops have been provided by Sizanani funders and partners (Career wise and companies). Download below a list of our alumni (since 2013). Three training programs have also been provided to our alumni and even other youth from Alexandra township.

Peer Coaches

Since 2023, 20 selected alumni have been offering one-on-one support to learners. Thanks to 5th Place (founded by Chantal Dawtrey and Matthew Green), our peer coaches received formal training and certification.

Learners can book sessions with them to discuss personal issues."I was able to open up a little more and talk about certain things that I had never been able to talk about" shares one learner.

5th Place also holds 'Supervision Sessions' to support the peer coaches with debriefing and advice. Learn more about 5th Place here.
